Prerna Prasad started her career as a TV journalist and worked for almost 8 years in corporate media. It was in 2016, when she went on a holiday to Malaysia that the idea of Ecoplore was born.
“Ecoplore is a women-founded and women-managed company. We have a pool of experts who assist us in building new eco-stays or converting a non-eco-friendly place into an eco-stay. United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has recognized Ecoplore for fulfilling SDG. “says Prerna.
Ecoplore is a booking platform for eco-hotels. They only promote only those hotels that are made of mud, wood, bamboo, stone, or any local architecture, and maintain at least 33% greenery on its campus. Their eco-hotels also follow other sustainable measures like rainwater harvesting, solar panels, composting, no plastic zone, organic farming, and so on.
